Lamar Street and 14th Avenue Intersection Improvements - The City of Lakewood will complete intersection improvements at the Lamar Street and 14th Avenue intersection and along Lamar Street from 14th Avenue to the Lamar Station. The scope of the project includes the reconstruction of the 14th Avenue and Lamar Street intersection as an urban compact roundabout, construction of an 8 foot detached sidewalk and curb and gutter on the east side of Lamar Street between 13th and 14th Avenues, and bike lanes on both sides of Lamar Street between 13th and 14th Avenues.

The Lamar Station is a neighborhood walk-up station that is located just east of Lamar Street and north of 13th Avenue in Lakewood. No parking is associated with this station. Public art will be placed at the station adjacent to Lamar Street.
